New Phenyl Silicone Oil Launched


With frequent high-temperature warnings issued across many parts of China in recent days, the stable operation of factory equipment and automobile engines under scorching heat has become a major concern. In response to this need, a domestic chemical company recently launched a new phenylmethyl silicone oil, IOTA-255.


This product boasts outstanding thermal stability, with an operating temperature range covering -60℃ to 320℃. Compared to similar high-end foreign products (such as DC510 and DC550), it performs comparably in high-temperature lubrication, radiation resistance, and oxidation resistance, while offering a cost advantage. It can be used as insulation, damping, shock absorption, and a high-temperature heat transfer medium, and is widely used in precision instruments, automotive greases, and other fields.


Industry insiders point out that against the backdrop of frequent extreme weather and the urgent need for cost reduction and efficiency improvement in industry, the widespread adoption of domestically produced high-performance silicone oils provides the manufacturing industry with a more economical and reliable "cooling solution." Currently, this product is transported as a non-toxic, non-hazardous material with a shelf life of 3 years.
