Product Introduction: Silicone resins are a general term for polymers whose side chains are linked to silicon atoms in a spatial network structure composed of alternating silicon and oxygen atoms, with different organic groups connecting to silicon atoms. Silicone resin coatings are coatings using organosilicon resins or modified silicone resins as the main film-forming substance. They possess excellent heat resistance, cold resistance, corona resistance, radiation resistance, water repellency, stain resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, electrical insulation, and toughness, and their applications have developed rapidly in recent years.


For a long time, the preparation of high-temperature resistant coatings has relied on solvent-based organosilicon resins, with toluene or xylene as the solvent. Traditional high-temperature resistant coatings not only increase VOC emissions, causing environmental pollution, but also pose potential health risks to operators. In response to this trend, our company has launched GT-604 water-based high-temperature resistant silicone resin emulsion to help customers achieve water-based high-temperature resistant coatings and meet the market demand for ultra-high-temperature resistant coatings.


GT-604's unique molecular structure design and high phenyl content give the cured coating excellent thermal stability, aging resistance, and weather resistance. It is used to formulate high-temperature resistant coatings ranging from 200 to 1000℃. Product Characteristics: Excellent water dilution properties, low odor, free of toluene and xylene, meeting environmental regulations. Good stability, high-speed dispersion, resistant to acids and alkalis, and exhibits good stability under heat storage, centrifugation, and dilution. Excellent film-forming properties, rapid surface drying at room temperature, and good wetting and leveling properties. When used in combination with suitable heat-stabilized pigments, fillers, or metallic powders, it is the most suitable base material for preparing high-temperature resistant water-based coatings. The fully cured film exhibits good thermal stability, excellent weather resistance, and salt spray resistance. The fully cured film also possesses good hardness, toughness, abrasion resistance, impact resistance, and chemical resistance.




Appearance: Milky white liquid with a bluish tint. Visual inspection. Emulsifier Ionicity: Nonionic. pH Value (20℃): 8~9 (pH test paper). Solid Content (wt%): 45-50 (ASTM D1630). Kinetic Viscosity (Cp): 20-100 (Brookfield). Density (Kg/l): 1.02-1.11 (ASTM D4052). Curing Conditions: 200~280℃, 10-60 min (higher temperature, shorter curing time).


Applications: High-temperature water-based coatings for household appliances, cookware, stoves, fireplaces, ovens, kilns, flues, chimneys, automotive exhaust pipes, and engines. Weather-resistant and corrosion-resistant outdoor metal water-based coatings. Water-based insulating coatings for household appliances (e.g., non-stick cookware coatings), electronic and electrical components, and electromechanical products. Ideal base material for preparing high-temperature resistant water-based thermal insulation coatings, fireproof coatings, heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings, thermally conductive coatings, and insulating coatings.


Usage Recommendations


1. It is recommended to prepare a water-based resin-free colorant first, and then use it in conjunction with a water-based silicone resin emulsion.


2. The prepared coating has good room temperature self-drying properties. To obtain excellent heat resistance and physical and mechanical properties, it is recommended to cure completely at 200-280℃ for 10-60 minutes, preferably at 220℃ for 30 minutes or 280℃ for 10 minutes.


Packaging and Storage
Packaging Specifications: 50 kg plastic drum.


Store this product in a cool, ventilated place above 0℃, not exceeding 40℃, and transport it as a non-hazardous material.


Shelf Life
12 months when stored in a sealed container. (The "best before" date is indicated on each product label. Exceeding the best before date does not necessarily mean the product is unusable. However, in this case, to ensure product quality, the relevant properties of the product need to be re-examined.)
