2. Electrophoretic deposition
Electrophoretic deposition is a mild surface coating method that can avoid phase change and brittle cracking caused by traditional high-temperature coating, and electrophoretic deposition technology is suitable for parts with complex shapes. Electrophoretic deposition is the directional movement of charged particles, and the large amount of gas generated when electrolyzing water solvent will not affect the bonding force between the coating and the metal substrate.
Compared with other methods, the equipment for preparing nano coatings by electrodeposition is simple, does not require high temperature and high vacuum, has strong controllability, and has great advantages in preparing nano composite oxide films (especially oxide films with high electronegativity). However, this method is not suitable for preparing coatings with large area and thickness.
