Adsorbents are widely used, one of the important uses is in inkjet printing. Adsorbents absorb water in the ink to make the printing medium present brighter and more saturated colors, thereby improving the printing quality. With the rapid development of the information industry, the types and quantities of inkjet printing papers have increased accordingly, such as copy paper, telex paper, light box advertising back-spray film, color inkjet printing paper, etc. Gel-process silica has a porous three-dimensional network structure with a large number of micropores inside, which can absorb a large amount of ink, prevent nozzle clogging, and make the image more layered.
