8. Research on the effect of nano-silica on growth promotion and prevention and control of peanut disease
Through pot experiments on peanuts in the seedling and flowering stages, it was found that root irrigation of low-concentration nano-silica suspensions can significantly promote the growth of peanuts. Among them, peanuts treated with 3g/L nanosilica have the most significant comprehensive improvement in agronomic traits, biomass, root development, etc., showing the optimal growth-promoting performance of nanosilica on peanuts. Regarding the performance of different concentrations of nano-silica in improving the photosynthetic performance of peanuts, it was found that the application of 18g/L and 3g/L nano-silica can increase the relative chlorophyll content of peanuts, enhance the photosynthesis of peanuts, and thereby promote the growth of peanuts. Therefore, 3g/L is the optimal concentration of nanosilica in promoting peanut growth. The application of nano-silica at different concentrations can significantly reduce the disease index of peanut white silkworm, showing good prevention and treatment effects. Among them, 3g/L nano-silica has outstanding performance in resisting white spores, with greenhouse control efficiencies reaching 62.08% and 52.15%.
