Recently, a novel high-temperature resistant water-based nano-ceramic coating named IOTA ST4 has been officially launched, offering a new environmentally friendly solution across multiple industries.

IOTA ST4 stands out as a water-based coating with significant environmental benefits. It does not produce toxic gases such as formaldehyde and benzene during application, ensuring the health and safety of those involved in its application and use. The coating adopts special processes and formulations, achieving a hardness of up to 9H and exhibiting excellent acid and alkali resistance. The cured coating is wear-resistant, scratch-resistant, graffiti-proof, and effectively dustproof, oil-repellent, and stain-resistant.

Particularly noteworthy is IOTA ST4's ability to withstand temperatures up to 900°C, making it ideal as a fire-retardant coating for materials such as wood. Its performance indicators are also impressive, with an appearance as a colorless transparent liquid, a solid content of 35%, and a coating thickness adjustable between 1 and 50 micrometers according to requirements. It achieves a surface dry in 30 minutes and is fully cured in seven days under natural conditions. For thermal curing at 150°C, it achieves initial curing in just 10 minutes, reaching a hardness of 5-8H, and fully cures in three hours with a hardness of 9H.

IOTA ST4 boasts a wide range of applications, suitable for topcoats on metals, glass, ceramics, and wooden furniture. Its application method is straightforward, requiring only the surface to be sanded, degreased, and then applied using brushing, dipping, spin coating, rolling, or other coating techniques. However, for optimal coating performance, it is recommended to keep the dry film thickness below 10 micrometers. Additionally, unused product should be stored in a sealed container after opening.
