According to industry analysis, with downstream demand gradually picking up, the organic silicone industry is poised for a significant improvement in supply-demand dynamics in 2025. Data indicates that as of February 2025, although prices for Dimethylcyclosiloxane (DMC) in East China are still fluctuating at the bottom of the cycle, the industry widely believes that with new production capacity gradually being absorbed, the supply-demand balance will gradually improve. Research reports from Guojin Securities point out that, supported by strong demand in the organic silicone industry, new production capacity can be well absorbed in the long run. Gradually increasing operating rates and improving supply-demand conditions are expected to push prices upwards from their lows. Additionally, the continued contraction of overseas organic silicone production capacity will further improve the global supply-demand balance, providing more market opportunities for domestic organic silicone enterprises.
