On March 19, 2025, Huawei released the world's first smart bracelet H-Band6 equipped with a flexible silicone rubber sensor. The product uses a new type of carbon nanotube/silicone rubber composite conductive material, which can monitor epidermal micro-strain in real time (with an accuracy of 0.1%), and can recognize 20 gesture commands with AI algorithms. The R&D team broke through the traditional silicone rubber filler dispersion problem and achieved seamless integration of sensors and medical-grade silicone rubber matrix through microfluidic 3D printing technology. Actual measurements show that the conductivity of the material decays by less than 5% after 500,000 bends, and it has passed FDA medical device certification. Industry insiders pointed out that this technology provides a key material solution for metaverse tactile feedback devices.
