IOTA 91033, an organopolysilazane resin, is a low-viscosity, solvent-free liquid polysilazane resin. Its core advantage lies in its unique Si-NH-Si bonds.
These bonds react with -OH groups on the substrate surface during high-temperature curing, resulting in excellent interfacial adhesion between the cured resin and the substrate.
After curing, the resin forms an organic-inorganic hybrid three-dimensional cross-linked network, endowing the material with excellent mechanical properties.
This material not only possesses good adhesion, hydrophobicity, weather resistance, UV resistance, and chemical resistance, but also reacts with other components in coating formulations, making it suitable as a base for mixed systems.
