Since May 2026, new national standards for the safety of power batteries in new energy vehicles have been officially implemented, requiring battery packs to remain uncatchable and non-explosive within two hours of thermal runaway. Compared to the traditional silicone varnish's heat resistance limit of only 200-250℃, IOTA 9118 varnish boasts five key advantages: high temperature resistance, strong adhesion, non-flammability, ceramicization, and environmental friendliness. It withstands 800℃, and with the main coating, its heat resistance exceeds 1600℃, transforming into a dense ceramic layer at high temperatures.

In daily travel, the safety of electric vehicles in high-temperature summers is a major concern. Industrial applications such as high-temperature engine components and robot joint protection also place stringent requirements on coatings. IOTA 9118 can be applied to various surfaces including metal, glass, and plastic. After curing, it achieves a hardness of 6-7H, a cross-cut adhesion rating of 0, is non-flammable, and has a hydrophobic angle exceeding 100° for easy cleaning, meeting the upgrading needs of the new energy and intelligent equipment industries.
