Amidst persistent high-temperature conditions, metal components—such as new energy vehicle exhaust pipes and mufflers, as well as household ovens—are constantly exposed to oxidation and corrosion. With an inorganic content of 68–72% SiO₂, the coating film remains functional at 350°C; when formulated with inorganic pigments, it can withstand temperatures exceeding 600°C. Suitable for applications in automotive, motorcycle, aerospace, and home appliance coatings, IOTA’s silicone resin supports both one-component and two-component systems. It can be diluted by 20%–50% using eco-friendly solvents like methanol or ethanol, helping customers enhance corrosion resistance, insulation, water repellency, and weatherability while reducing maintenance frequency. As a highly reactive, pure methyl silicone resin, IOTA 6100 offers a more time-efficient and durable solution for high-temperature metal protection.
