3. Optical application of nano coatings


The particle size of nanoparticles is much smaller than the wavelength of visible light, 400-750nm, and has a transparent effect, thus ensuring that the nanocomposite coating has a high degree of transparency. Nanoparticles have a strong absorption effect on ultraviolet rays. Adding nanoparticles such as TiO2 and SiO2 to exterior wall architectural coatings can improve weather resistance, and adding TiO2 to automotive topcoats can improve the aging resistance of automotive coatings.
