Product Introduction

IOTA 6107 is a hydroxyl-functionalized phenylsiloxane resin supplied as a solid powder. It is suitable for flame-retardant modification of PC, PC/ABS alloys, PA, PBT, PPO, and other engineering plastics.


Product Features

1.    Highly efficient silicone flame retardant synergist for PC, PC/ABS, etc. Recommended addition: 0.5–1.0 wt% (must be used with primary FR). Advantages: improves FR rating, enhances char formation, suppresses smoke, minimal impact on transparency.

2.    Improves FR stability and rating; provides smoke suppression.

3.    Upgraded catalyst system; contains no TFMS or its salts.

4.    Accelerates dense char layer formation to block heat and oxygen; also suppresses smoke.

PC: 60–70%

ABS: 10–20%
